You've been strong long enough
You've held it together for your family, your community, for generations before you. You made a way when there was no blueprint. But somewhere along the line, being strong became the only option and the weight of that is catching up.
Maybe it's anxiety that won't quiet down. Burnout you can't outwork. Trauma you've tucked away. Depression that doesn't match the life you built. Or just the exhaustion of being "the first" first to go to college, first to break the cycle, first to try therapy.
If you're here, something in you already knows it's time. As a first-gen and cycle breaker myself, I know what it costs to build something no one handed you a blueprint for. Sure, we know hard work, and we can do it all..but we don't have to do it alone. We were never meant to.
